CueNow 1.3.0 focuses on making everyday actions quicker and more accessible. Common tasks can now be performed directly from the menu bar, while several quality-of-life improvements make the app feel more at home on macOS.

CueNow now has a new Glass note style for a cleaner, translucent look to compliment MacOS 26. You can choose a Solid color or Glass in "Settings", and keep your notes feeling closer to the rest of macOS.

Writing inside notes also got more capable. You can now create numbered lists by typing 1. or 1), start checklists by typing - .

CueNow now saves whatever you're actively typing before anything interrupts. The moment any actions like quitting the app, deleting or archiving fires, your in-progress text is committed to disk first.

Notes that were open on screen reopen at their exact saved positions when you relaunch. Notes you had closed stay minimized in the menu-bar dropdown, out of your way until you need them.

The in-app update flow got faster. CueNow now shows a lightweight menubar update panel that walks you through the entire process of checking, downloading and installing with clear states at each step. No need to dive into the "Settings" window to update the app.

CueNow now updates itself. When a new version is available, the app handles the download, backs up your notes and relaunches without you leaving the app or visiting a website. Release notes from GitHub show up directly in Settings > App Updates so you know what changed before you install.

On the safety side, Note History recovery means a corrupted or unreadable notes file is no longer a dead end. CueNow detects the problem and restores from the most recent backup instead of silently overwriting your data with a blank state.
